Huanglong ("Yellow Dragon") is a picturesque national park in the northwest of Sichuan province in China which stretches  150 kilometers northwest of Chengdu city. This area is famous for the richness of the forest ecosystem, snow peaks, waterfalls and hot springs, but the main pride of the reserve is the travertine terraces formed with limestone tuffs with various lakes that decorate Huanglong valley.
