The Soča in Slovenia  and Isonzo in Italy is an incredibly beautiful river that flows deep in a valley surrounded by picturesque Slovenian Alps. The length of the river is 138 kilometers, 96 kilometers flows through western Slovenia and 42 kilometers through north-eastern Italy. Its average width is 20 meters and the depth varies from one to one and a half meters. Soča refers to those few rivers that have the unique property of preserving an unusual color throughout its length.
