The Valley of wandering or moving rocks is a geological phenomenon that was discovered at the bottom of the ancient dried-up Lake Racetrack Playa, which is in the south of the Valley of Death in the state of California, USA. It is fairly flat and  plain, the stones move slowly on the clay surface , as a result, we can find  long tracks left behind.
