The Richat Structure
The Eye of the Sahara is a ring Richat Structure with a diameter of 50 kilometers is visible even from outer space. Initially, there was a theory that the Richat Structure is a crater from a huge meteorite, but it is most likely that this is the result of erosion. The Richat Structure is the oldest geological artifact located in the middle of the Maur Adrar desert in the western Sahara, Africa.
