Mauritius is an island nation in the Indian Ocean located 2000 km from the southeast coast of  the African continent. One of the most beautiful islands of our planet has an amazing landmark. It`s the illusion of an underwater waterfall which from the height of the bird's flight has an incredibly spectacular view.

An impressive natural anomaly that seems as a giant waterfall is located off the coast of  Le Morne Brabant, in the southwestern part of the island state of Mauritius. There is an incredible optical illusion near the coast of the peninsula due to the movement of silt sediments and sand under the influence of powerful undercurrents. Crystal clear ocean waters give a chance­­ to enjoy a picture imitating a powerful underwater phenomenon. The bizarre cascades and whirlpools of the "sandy waterfall" seem to move to the very bottom of the ocean.
